Have you ever felt the stirring in your spirit, a gentle yet undeniable sense that a great shift is on the horizon? Perhaps you’ve sensed that you’re being prepared for something monumental—a task, a mission, or a calling unlike any before. Many women of faith have experienced such moments, feeling the rumblings of divine preparation. Could it be that God is assembling a mighty army of spiritual warriors to take part in a phenomenal work? Yet, as you look around for fellow warriors to lock arms with, you might notice that some of the strongest among us now lie wounded on the battlefield. Sisters who once stood with unshakable resolve are now disarmed, waiting for someone to offer a healing hand. How did this happen? How were these powerful women caught off guard, and where were their sisters when the battles raged? The answer often lies in a simple, unassuming culprit: distraction.
Distracted by the Cares of Life
Distractions are universal. Life’s challenges—illness, financial strain, unexpected losses, or sheer exhaustion—can pull even the most steadfast among us away from the fight. These moments of distraction can leave us vulnerable, unarmed, and unprepared when spiritual attacks arise. But distractions don’t only come during times of struggle. Abundance, too, can shift our focus. When we feel we’ve “made it,” complacency can creep in, dulling our spiritual alertness. Whether in lack or plenty, vigilance is essential. We must remain watchful, discerning, and steadfast, keeping our vision and purpose clear.
Now Is the Time to Prepare
Preparation is a deliberate act. It’s in the quiet moments of prayer, meditation, and gratitude that we fortify our spirit. Now is the time to gather your spiritual resources, to arm yourself with love, generosity, and unwavering faith. These practices strengthen not only our own resilience but also our ability to lift others when they stumble. A few intentional moments each day to nurture your faith can lead to miraculous results. God is ready to pour fresh oil into your spirit, offering healing, blessings, and divine connection. He is preparing us for renewal and equipping us to serve not only ourselves but also those who stand beside us.
Be Ready to Receive and to Serve
The blessings God is preparing are not just for our benefit but for the healing of our communities. The fresh anointing He offers will enable us to bind our own wounds and extend that same healing power to our sisters. It’s a sacred exchange, one that strengthens the bonds of faith and unity. None of us can do everything, but each of us can do something. When you see a sister in the midst of a spiritual battle, take up your sword in prayer, in action, and in love. Fight on her behalf. Stand in the gap before she even realizes the storm is brewing.
We Are Our Sisters’ Keeper
God’s work is great, and the call is clear: we are our sisters’ keeper. Let us gather as an army of prepared and willing warriors, ready to uplift, encourage, and fight the good fight of faith. Together, we can prepare ourselves and one another to serve in spirit and truth. This is our time to prepare. Let us answer the call with faith, love, and action. Let us be the blessing we wish to see in the world. Are you ready to serve?
