Mini Magical Miracles "Entertaining Angels Unaware"

When you are open to the blessings of God, they show up in the most miraculous and unexpected ways. A recent example was what was to be a simple search for the best route to pick up some needed items from a supermarket after a trying doctor's visit. Lately, my mode of transportation has been public transportation. While enroute to one location, I sat prayerfully talking to God about my life and my heart's desires. I am grateful for each day and for the provisions of God, so I do not complain. However, I am greatly looking forward to the next beautiful phase of life that I believe is soon to come. As I sat immersed in prayer, the train came to a stop announcing where I was at that point. Hearing the stop announced, I suddenly jumped up and dashed out the door just before it closed. I realized that if I walked a block and a half from there, I would be at a supermarket I almost never visit, but it would make my journey home a bit easier. So, emerging into the brightness of an autumn day, I walked. Still immersed in prayer, I noticed a rather dishevled looking man sitting in a chair at the corner with a few items scattered around him for sale. He spoke to me, so I spoke to him. I'm glad I try not to place judgement on people regardless of appearance. Despite his outward appearance of problably being financially destitute, his conversation was abundantly rich. He spoke words of encouragement and wisdom to me. We had never met, but he prophesied to me about the very things I had been praying. I thank God for hearing and answering prayers. Having little to offer to him, I gave him a package of tissues for his runny nose. Then I reached into the bag I was carrying and gave him a copy of the book I had just completed. It is entitled, "COLLECTION PLATE." It is a book of five short stories, each with a message of encouragement. He was very grateful and delighted to receive it. I was grateful to him and delighted to hear the words he offered. He told me that this book would make the difference in my life and in the lives of others. He said money would be the least of my problems. I walked away with a heart filled with hope and joy. God had directed my path and blessed me to encounter a stranger who spoke the answers to what I was talking about to God. I consider this to be on of God's mini miracles that seem to magically appear quite unexpectedly. I thank God for this encounter and for a hope for my future.
